Information on batteries and waste batteries
On this page you will find information on the return and disposal of batteries, rechargeable batteries and battery-backed products.
Return and disposal
Waste batteries must not be disposed of with household waste or unsorted commercial residual waste.
Please hand over waste batteries and battery-backed components only via suitable return, collection or recycling channels.
Products with integrated batteries
Robots, workstations and charging systems may contain integrated battery systems.
Do not remove integrated batteries yourself if the removal is intended only for trained personnel.
Labeling
The crossed-out wheeled bin symbol indicates that batteries and rechargeable batteries must be collected separately from unsorted municipal waste.
Where legally required, chemical symbols such as Pb, Cd or Hg indicate the presence of lead, cadmium or mercury.
